R-996 Titanium Dioxide Pigment

R-996 is Zirconia and Alumina treated rutile titanium dioxide pigment. It is proved to have excellent outdoor durability and super gloss in paint & coating，ink and plastic industries.

APPLICATIONS

R-996 is recommended as a premium pigment for a variety of high quality powder coatings，water-born and solvent-born industrial and decorative coating，ink and plastics.

Alkyd Melamine Enamel Test：

Binder 32% coconut alkyd / butylated melamine=70/30 (solid)

Grinding Red Devil 5400 Paint Conditioner

Enamel Dry PVC 24%，Pig / Binder solid=1.2

Coating For Gloss and Color evaluation，coated with 150 micron wet thick applicator on a glassplate and baked for 20 minutes at 130 degree Centigrade.

For Opacity evaluation，coated with 60 micron wet thick Barcoater on a black and white paper.
